Melbourne Zoo sits just north of the city centre in Royal Park and can be reached in around 20 minutes from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine).

By Tram:
Tram route 58 runs daily between West Coburg and Toorak, travelling via William Street in the city centre.
Services run frequently, often every six minutes, and stop right outside the zoo at Stop 26.

By Train:
From Flinders Street Station, take the Upfield line to Royal Park Station.
The station is located directly across the road from the zoo’s rail gate entrance, making it a convenient option for visitors travelling by train.
